  The mission of Vernon Hills Medical Center is to deliver the highest quality emergency psychiatric care available. Helping people recover from emotional crisis and return to work and their family is our primary objective.

  Vernon Hills Medical Center provides a comprehensive 24 hours, 7 days a week psychiatric care to anyone of all ages inquiring for it. Vernon Hills Medical Center offers the following services: psychiatric evaluation, treatment recommendations, crisis intervention, consultation, referral, information, community outreach, and arrangements for hospitalization when appropriate. If you have any psychiatric emergency, you can contact us either at (847) 680-2200 or via e-mail. Vernon Hills Medical Center receives referrals from:
 Local Police Departments
 PCPs (primary care physicians)
 Emergency rooms
 Teachers
 School counselors
 and a variety of other sources.

  It is important to note that a person does not need a referral to be seen in Vernon Hills Medical center. Physicians, senior nursing staff, and a variety of other staff deliver a broad range of resources for our clients.
